Alpha Psi Lambda

This fall I did some consulting with the national board of Alpha Psi Lambda. I got to know national board members when I was a representative for SLB to the National Association of Latino Fraternal Organizations (NALFO). As a co-ed national Latino fraternal organization they have a unique product, and strong history in the midwest. I was honored that they asked me to come and work with their national board on strategic planning and looking towards to the future.

The national board trusted me with a lot of information, their budget, membership numbers, their current strategic plan, areas in which they know they need development, and basically had an open book with me. Good information is critical for consulting to be impactful and on point. Having worked with our NALFO groups I know that being open is hard, and groups don’t tend to share anything but positive information.

It was exciting to be open to have open dialog, give suggestions and come up with a path forward to help them meet some of their strategic goals and objectives. I expect to see great things roll out next year when they turn 30… big milestone! I also am looking forward to be a small part of their future success and attend their convention.
