Chi Phi RLA

Chi Phi RLA 2This weekend I had the opportunity to present Recruitment Bootcamp for the Midwest Regional Leadership Alliance of Chi Phi Fraternity in Chicago. It was my first time traveling since we had Marisa exactly a week before. It was hard being gone for an entire day, but it was doing a program I absolutely love and since it was close I was glad to help out Campuspeak.

I have presented weekend Recruitment Bootcamps, campus based camps, and facilitated all different types of related trainings. Usually it is with new clients, or groups of students that don’t have a lot of experience with the program. This time I got to see what it is like to work with a client that has implemented the recruitment principles from the program over a long period of time. It was fantastic to see such positive recruitment culture throughout all the chapters present! Goes to show, that if you follow the program, take the needed steps, implement the principles you will be successful. Also, it proves that it works from big schools to small schools!

The students in the program were engaged and knew the answers to most of the questions. Which let us jump from the intro materials to advanced items quickly. We worked on skill building, Chi Phi Conversations, marketing, branding and all the fun RBC conversations about growing your chapter the right way.

After the program I had the opportunity to talk with their national president and they are blessed to have such a supportive leader. It is great to see an organization investing in the right things for their members, and following up with resources to support their success.

Thank you Chi Phi for the hospitality, for the engagement during the program and I am looking forward to seeing and hearing good things from your chapters and national organization.
